I was wondering in terms of how google treats the featured image, is it treated the same way as if you had inserted that image into your blog post? I have a theme that displays my featured image at the top of my blog post so I’m just wondering if that’s all I need for SEO or if I should add additional images into my body in case google doesn’t recognise featured images.
